Last year, I got together with Ray and Doug Martz (DraftBoardGuru) to test an exercise we called Day 3 NFL Draft. The concept simply called for us to draft the best rosters consisting of players projected to be available after the first 3 rounds of the 2018 draft. I had a blast putting my team together and we all agreed this needed to become an annual feature.
The Rules for 2019 Day 3 NFL Draft
The list of ineligible players will once again come from DraftBoardGuru’s website since he is still the 5-year average champion in The Huddle Report’s rankings.
Each participant will draft 46 players.

Doug Martz (@DraftBoardGuru) – Doug is the undisputed most unheralded draft analyst in the media. The Draft Board Guru consistently churns out accurate Top 100 boards year after year. As I mentioned earlier, he’s the 5-year average champion in The Huddle Report’s accuracy rankings and he’s held that title for quite some time.
Thor Nystrom (@thorku) – Thor is a writer for Rotoworld and genuinely one of the top college football minds in the industry. He earned the FSWA 2018 Sports Writer of the Year Award and annihilated my first attempt to put together a college fantasy football team.
Jeff Roemer (@JeffRoemer) – Jeff is a former Bleacher Report writer who covered the NFL draft, worked for the Toronto Blue Jays and graduated from Princeton. He Tweets his informed opinions about potential draft picks and is an outstanding addition to Day 3 NFL Draft.
Ray Mencio (@roughdraftRay) – Ray is the co-owner of NFLroughdraft.com. He placed 1st for the second time in last year’s Huddle Report accuracy rankings and has projected future NFL success better than anyone, including NFL GMs, according to The Athletic’s Arif Hasan.
